Sayed Asif Hashimi is Chair Faculty of Shari’a and Assistant Professor at the Department of Jurisprudence and Law at Ghazni University, where he has been teaching since 2013. Professor Hashimi specializes in Islamic jurisprudence and has taught various subjects, including Jurisprudence (Figh), Principles of Jurisprudence (Usul al-Figh), Jurisprudential Analysis of Civil Law, and Islamic Judicial System. He has also worked as head of the University’s Quality Assurance Committee in 2016-2017, and Strategically Plan Committee in 2019.

In addition, Professor Hashimi has coached, organized, managed, and judged moot court teams, including, but not limited to, Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition both at the national level in Kabul, Afghanistan and international level in Washington D.C., USA. Professor Hashimi collaborates as a presenter of Islamic programs for different local televisions and radios stations in Ghazni province. He also manages the Payam-e Haq charity fund.

Sayed Asif Hashimi holds an M.A. in Jurisprudence and Law from Nangarhar University and a B.A. in Islamic Law from Kabul University.

He travels on Indonesia for 20 days the purpose was Pedagogy, also on Washington Seattle, UW University for learning Academic English, research, and visiting scholars. He published 5 books and 13 articles in a different journal.
